We are people who care about the impact we have on our planet.  We believe that when we consume with awareness, we can make a positive impact on our earth.  By choosing products that are made with sustainable materials and ethical manufacturing practices, we can reduce waste and create a better world now and for future generations.

Our story starts in 1984 when Christina Swingdler, The Sparkle Queen of the North Coast, made a necklace for a beloved stuffed animal. Fast forward to 2014 when Jim Christensen walked through her front door during the annual North Coast Open Studios event where artisans from all over Humboldt County open their creative habitats to the public, the rest is history as they say; well in this case it was just the beginning.... In 2017 Christina, now of Christina Anastasia Jewelry and Jim took the leap to get her jewelry seen and sold beyond their rural community within the Lost Coast of Northern California. Several of Christina's artist friends expressed interest in also breaking into the wholesale market and in late 2018 when Christina was debating participating in wholesale shows in San Francisco and Los Angeles, three artist friends quickly turned into twelve and thus formed Humboldt Artisans Group, a way for Humboldt based artisans get their works seen and sold beyond what we call the Redwood Curtain.

Within a couple years Humboldt Artisans Group evolved to Emerald Sales Team; we still represent many talented artisans within the Redwood Curtain but have expanded to representing fellow manufactures throughout America that share our environmental and sustainable values.  In 2023 The Emerald Sales Team purchased FT Renner, a wholesale group that supports Artisan Made, Sustainable, and Fair Trade products from United States and abroad.
